The Hobbit update changes rule 605.1a so activated abilities whose cost or effect moves a card to or from a library no longer qualify as mana abilities. The affected list includes Chromatic Sphere, Selvala, Explorer Returned, Millikin, Deranged Assistant, Charmed Pendant, Darkwater Egg, Mossfire Egg, Shadowblood Egg, Skycloud Egg, and Sungrass Egg. The Hobbit releases worldwide August 14.
