Director Nick Fury - Intelligence

Build with enough Heroes to make the discount and attack trigger real, then use safe attacks to keep finding the best Hero from the top four cards.

Only spells with the Hero creature type receive Director Nick Fury's cost reduction. Name text, Avengers flavor, and non-Hero creatures do not qualify.

The reduction affects only generic mana. It cannot reduce the blue, red, or white mana required by a Hero spell.

The ability triggers once when you attack, not once per attacker. Fury does not need to be one of the attacking creatures.

The attack trigger looks at the top four cards and can reveal at most one Hero card into hand. It does not cast or put that card onto the battlefield.

Director Nick Fury does not need to remain on the battlefield for an already-triggered attack ability to resolve.

Extra combat steps can create another attack declaration and therefore another top-four Hero selection trigger.

Changelings are Heroes because they have every creature type, so they qualify for the cost reduction and the selection trigger.

Cards not put into hand go on the bottom of the library in a random order. Top-library setup matters before the trigger resolves.

Curve Fury into discounted Heroes, attack with evasive or protected creatures, and use the top-four trigger to keep the next Hero flowing.

Use Fury as a value commander inside a protected Jeskai creature deck with counters, removal, and rebuild cards.

Lean into legendary Heroes and use lands or payoffs that care about legendary creatures.

Set up the top of the library before attacks, then use extra combats to trigger Fury more than once in a turn.
